Sometimes it’s time to go…⁣ ⁣ I’ve had this instag Sometimes it’s time to go…⁣
⁣
I’ve had this instagram page for about 6 years now and have been on instagram overall since 2012, but over the last few years Instagram has changed. Content is no longer king. The algorithm is. So this is where I get off and focus on what matters. My new focus is “Calm Creation,” or content creation without the use is social media. It sounds crazy right? ⁣
⁣
Not necessarily. All you need is one discoverable channel and one engagement channel. Your discoverable channel can be something as simple as your website or search engines like Pinterest or content machines like YouTube. It doesn’t have to be social media, which imo has become far too draining. I scroll and scroll but much of the content shown to me is not people I follow but large creators who pay to play on the algorithm. Instagram is one big advertisement and it makes me want to buy stuff I don’t need which is the antithesis of why I started this page. So I’m going to focus on my website, my email list, and my Pinterest page. That’s more than enough to keep up with! ⁣
⁣
I’m planning to keep the page open so you can contact me but I’ll be archiving most of my posts. ⁣
⁣
I would really love to connect with people through email so send me an email directly or sign up for my newsletter. Either way you will receive a personal message from me and I hope to receive a personal message from you —beyond the algorithms. ⁣
⁣
I will stop by on occasion to say hello. If want to reach me please send me an email. This isn’t the end. It’s the beginning! Links in bio. ⁣

This visually stunning high-density residential co This visually stunning high-density residential complex in Chengdu, China, feels like something straight out of an animated film, but it’s more than just beautiful—it’s a game changer for the environment!
High-density developments like this one help reduce suburban sprawl, cut down on commute times, and lower overall carbon emissions. By moving away from suburban expansion and embracing sustainable urban living, we can save valuable green spaces, promote energy efficiency, and create healthier environments for all. 🌳
If we advocate for developments like these, we’re pushing for a future where cities are designed with both people and the planet in mind and say no to endless suburban sprawl!
💬 What do you think of this development in Chengdu?

When it’s time to declutter, I love finding new ho When it’s time to declutter, I love finding new homes for my things through **Buy Nothing groups** rather than dropping everything at big donation centers like Goodwill. 💡 It’s a great way to directly connect with people in my community who truly need the items, and it keeps perfectly usable things out of landfills.
For larger items like furniture, I always turn to **Habitat for Humanity**. They ensure that gently used furniture goes toward building homes for those in need, all while reducing waste. 🛋️💚
The environmental benefits are huge: reducing landfill waste, promoting reuse, and supporting sustainable living in our communities. Small choices like this can make a big impact on our planet! 🌱
If you’ve got items to give, try local groups or community-based options first! Have you donated through Buy Nothing or Habitat for Humanity before? Let me know your experiences in the comments! 💬

Say hello to **Native’s compostable deodorant**! N Say hello to **Native’s compostable deodorant**! Not only is it **plastic-free**, **paraben-free**, and **aluminum-free**, but once you’ve finished using it, you can toss it straight into your compost bin!
Switching to low-waste alternatives like this is a simple way to reduce plastic waste. Curious about other zero-waste deodorant options? I’ve rounded up my favorite eco-friendly, toxin-free deodorants that are just as effective as they are sustainable. Link in bio.
